Seeing can be taught.
Sheida Liaghati has taught at her own gallery in Tehran since 2021, and before that for eight years at the Majidiyeh, Shams Abad and Mobarak Abad cultural centres, and for five years alongside Amir Jamshidi. Classes are small and each student’s path is set separately.

Beginner
We begin with line and shadow: seeing, measuring by eye, and building form out of light and dark. No prior experience needed.

Intermediate
Anatomy, perspective and the entry into colour. Working in pastel and oil, and building a small body of your own work.

Masterclass
A personal language. Mixed media, large canvases, and preparing a portfolio for exhibitions and galleries.
